You're invited

When: Wednesday afternoons (between 1:15 and 3 p.m.)
Where: Starbucks on Perryville Road (in front of Woodman's)

It started last Wednesday when Lauren and I needed to get away. We made a few phone calls and sent a few emails...and BAM--there were 5 friends willing to get together -- Ruthie, Leah, Lauren, Kristin, and Angie. The sun was shining and we basked in the sunshine while enjoying chit-chat and ramblings about our lives. We discussed every topic under the sun (literally speaking also).

That afternoon brought about this afternoon...the gathering included Kathy & her twins (Myla and Macy), Leah, Kristin, and Lauren. An invitation was sent to Gloria, however she was unable to attend this function -- but has secured a position for the next gathering which will take place next Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1300 hours. (Oh mylanta...military time, really Angie?) Anywho...

I'd like our little group to read a book and discuss it...however with two of the attendees new moms and one a college student...I don't believe they will have to time to truly enjoy some lengthy reading...so I shall propose this...a quote, a small story...maybe a verse or two. That way we can all have 1 week to gather our thoughts and then share them. Be watching for details.

Oh--and if you are not on the list but would love to join us for some coffee...please, please let me know. We would love to have more attendees!!!! We can rope off an area at said location and give ourselves a FUN name. Something kind of flashy that way if (wait--WHEN) our group becomes famous, we will have something fabulous up in lights. Okay...something catchy so we could paint our own coffee mugs. There. Don't you want to join NOW? I mean fun coffee cups...
