I am so thankful for the friendships that the Lord has allowed me to cultivate along my journey. My friends are all unique and special.
My friends...
...send me email messages just to say "Hi"!
...text message me pictures of her silly children (which brighten my day).
...love a good thrifty bargain!
...encourage me with little cards in my mailbox.
...tell me straight-up like it is.
...are so genuine and sincere that when I think about our friendship I get choked-up.
...let me cry and doesn't ever complain, "You're soo emotional!"
...are there for me.
...send me pictures of signs with mis-spellings just to make me laugh outloud! (And maybe question my sanity...Isn't that word spelled THIS way???)
...know when I need to have coffee and talk.
...understand that sometimes I have to say "No" to something good.
What I appreciate the most about several of my friends is that I can come to them and share the burden on my heart and no-where in the midst of my sharing do they turn to cliches. They listen. They care and they pray. That is what true friendship is about. I pray that I never ever take these gals for granted!!!
