I heart Bookworm!!!

It all started several years ago when I subbed at the library during my teaching days.  I met this crazy lady named Nancy who introduced me to a whole slew of interesting things...

IKEA, knitting, collecting cookbooks, and this fabulous game Bookworm

Bookworm is an online version of the game Boggle except in Bookworm, you have a screen full of letters.  You connect the letter tiles to make words and then when you double-click, the tiles get eaten by the bookworm.  Randomly, red tiles (DANGER!) - fire tiles - fall from above.  These tiles, if they reach the bottom of the screen, will end your game.  As the tiles get closer to the bottom, the bookworm says things like "DANGER!"  I love it!  Oh and he also burps if you make a good word.  Not a gross burp like a I've-drank-a-2-liter-of-Coke-like-Buddy-the-Elf...the bookworm is just a simple burper.

Anyway...back in the day when I would sub at the library, we would pass time playing Bookworm.  Now I just play it when I need a mental vay-cay or at the end of a very long day when I want my brain to re-group and relax before drifting off for a blissful 8 hours of slumber.

Bookworm can be found at www.popcap.com -- click on online games.  It's free.  It's very, very addictive!  If you love word games, enjoy!!!
