Miss Angie, "Sooo then Saul threw another javelin at David!"
Sunday school kid, "Ummmm...why didn't David just grab the javelin before fleeing?"
Miss Angie, "Hmmmmm...if it happened to me, I would just fled for my life! Forget the javelin! David probably just ran away as fast as could. Remember King Saul was angry!"
Sunday school kid turns to the boy seated next to him and says ever-so-softly, "I totally would've taken the javelin." Second boy nods in agreement.
Thankfully we did not act out this story!!!!!
