Happy Monday!!!

Today is a full moon.  Now before you think I have fallen off the deep-end, I haven't.  Strange things happen on full moons.  I know this for a fact...

A. I taught second grade.  Children act squirrelly-er (not sure if I should change the "y" to an "i"?)
B. I worked at the Secretary of State (DMV) in Michigan.  The full moon brought out the crrrazies!
C. Currently at my place of employment, I interact (on a small scale) with the public.

At the gym tonight, Lauren asked me if my co-workers acted weirder today because of the full moon.  This question made me pause and then reply, "No, actually everyone was fine except me.  I laughed and laughed about a run in my hoseries.  It wasn't even funny...  And then after the hoseries, I laughed about an email that I sent to someone that read, 'What you want is attached.'  I'm nice.  I don't send emails like that..."  Today I did.  And just to clarify, the company that harasses me for this information has graciously employed individuals that English is not even a second language...but perhaps a third or fourth language.  Imagine that!  They recite reference numbers (usually 15-20 digits) in a way that makes me ask them to repeat said number twice...on occasion, THRICE!  I figured...the information really was attached...  Normally I end the email with, "Have a great day!  Thanks!" and then add my signature line which includes my direct number.  Well, ol' Angie wised up...she doesn't give them her direct line.  They can call the switchboard and maneuver through the voice prompts.

Between laughing episodes, I was able to finish my top secret knitting project.  Drat - I cannot post the cute picture I took of said project because a certain blog-stalker will be receiving said knitted item.  No worries, I will save the picture and post it next week.

Let me go back to the full moon issue for a second....I am blaming the full moon for all the Resolutioners at the gym.  The place was packed!!!  Thankfully Lauren and I were able to use our favorite machines...and well, our not so favorite Electric Chair.  :)

Lauren has this dream of starting an Olympic rowing team (which has the potential to be EPIC!).  Every time (and I do mean EVERY TIME) we get to do this rowing-type machine at the gym, we discuss the team.  Tonight we planned out our local business sponsorship and clarified that we should probably plan on wearing red, white, and blue uniforms.  I would totally be inclined to do this rowing thing...HELLO -- rowing is done outside on a peaceful river (if it was a dangerous river, it would be called whitewater rafting and we would have to wear helmets & life-jackets), toned arms, and think of all the vitamin D my body would create.

Honestly, Lauren and I discuss a plethora of topics while working-out...everything from the rowing team to running for President!  With enough endorphins swimming around, I think we could conquer the world!!!  And if not the world than maybe just the 2012 Presidential race and the 2016 Olympics!!!

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
