Part Two: Going

Date:  March 15, 2012

3:00 a.m. ~ Arise from slumber, Rockford, Illinois

4:15 a.m. ~ Load luggage into Rosie and drive to VanGalder Bus Terminal

4:50 a.m. ~ Relax with B.A. Somebody at the bus station.  Arriving at the bus terminal early makes for a calm morning!

5:05 a.m. ~ Leave Rockford onboard the bus

6:20 a.m. ~ Arrive at Alaska Air Ticket Desk

6:25 a.m. ~ Enter security check point

7:00 a.m. ~ Still in security line -- but PRAISE THE LORD, they open a 3rd and 4th checkpoint

7:15 a.m. ~ Breeze through security screening

7:35 a.m. ~ Order Coffee #1 on adventure

7:40 a.m. ~ Meander the 100 feet (or so) to my gate

7:45 a.m. ~ As I board the plane that will deliver to me to Seattle, I hear a song playing overhead that just so happens to be the same song that I sang along with one day at work...  On the day of my conference room concert, I suppose I should confess ----> I had cracked!  Snapped!  I was working on pulling files and boxing them for storage at Iron Mountain (not AN Iron Mountain but a company called Iron Mountain that stores boxes).  Anyway...on the day that I had reached my limit, I, Angela Good, started singing along LOUDLY in the conference room.  I remember Eric and Doug meeting in the doorway and Eric saying, "Angie, you ARE taking tomorrow off as a Mental Health Day."  Too which, if I am not mistaken, I replied, "Was I singing outloud...loudly?"  They both shook their heads and laughed.  Note to self, If you are going to crack-up and go crazy, make sure you don't sing along loudly in the conference room while your co-workers are present.

Switching to Pacific Time...
10:25 a.m. ~ Arrive in Seattle!

10:35 a.m. ~ Obtain luggage and call Eric

10:45 a.m. ~ Picked up and delivered to the Kunz Bed & Breakfast

11:30 (ish) a.m. ~ Walk up the driveway behind Eric.  At this point, I need to share what's happening inside the Kunz household.

Now starring:
Samantha, 7th grader
Ginger, Birthday Girl Extraordinaire!

Samantha looks out the front window and announces, "Daddy's home.  And Miss Angie is here."  (Insert dramatic 7th grader pause.)  "Wait!?  We aren't in Rockford anymore..."

Ginger begins jumping up and down and hugs were given!  I told her, "Happy Birthday!"

Too be continued...
