It seems silly to just say "Thank you" to those men and women who have given their time...time away from home, time on foreign soil, time to be in harms way... Time, something that once it passes, we will never get it back. Time, a commodity that some hold tightly and not ever want to share. Time, not money nor possessions, is something that each of us has been given. We all have 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day... No one is granted 65 seconds in a minute or 28 hours in a day. Somedays I wish I had more time; however, God has given each of an allotted amount of time. Why not at the beginning of each day, give your day to Him and ask Him to direct your path for the day?
On this wonderful Memorial Day, I am thankful for the service that men and women have given to protect our great nation. Some have given years and some their lives. Let us not ever forget to remember...
