This morning, I thought I would nice and share the love of Jesus one cup of Starbucks at a time. Truth - be - told, I had received two Starbucks gift cards and this morning was seeming like a good day to pick up coffee for me and my favorite co-worker. Also -- my hair straightened alot quicker than normal so I was ready to leave much earlier than other mornings. :)
When I got to Starbucks, I sent the following text to said favorite co-worker, "Today seems like a Starbucks sort-of Tuesday. What do you want?"
His reply: "WEDNESDAY!!! Usual please."
I seriously thought today was Tuesday. What in the world? I mean -- how absolutely cool is that...I'm technically one day closer to the weekend and I never knew it. I love not knowing what day it is only to be surprised that it's one day closer to a relaxing sort of weekend.
The story ends well. I purchased our coffee. They made my Cinnamon Soy Latte to perfection. His Venti Pike's Place (which cracks me up when I order it because I feel like Buddy the Elf. Do you remember in that movie when the store associate says that Santa is coming and Buddy screams, "I KNOW HIM!" Well....I have been to Pike's Place Market with my bestie. Pike's is fabulous! They have fresh produce, fresh flowers, a fish market, coffee, a singing bookstore owner, and sooo much more!), I always want to scream, "I KNOW PIKE'S PLACE MARKET! I'VE BEEN THERE! I HAVE A TOTE THAT SAYS 'SEATTLE!'" I don't scream and holler and carry-on on the outside. But on the inside, I remember my Seattle adventures and I remind myself that I've been invited back. :)
Sooooo, blog-stalkers, HAPPY FOR REAL WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
