46 hours later...

1. I am able to sit upright.
2. I actually am missing being at the gym.  (Yesterday I don't think I thought once about the gym.)
3. I'm looking forward to going to work tomorrow.
4. My washing machine has a load of laundry in it.
5. I have eaten real food.

These are small accomplishments but they are accomplishments nonetheless.

Please don't be offended if...
...I bring my own food.
...I only want to meet up for supper at gluten-free restaurants.
...I say "no, thank you."  I am being polite, afterall.  :)

The past 46 hours have made me realize that it's perfectly acceptable if I become obsessive about what I consume.  After reading my blog posts, I hope you understand and will be sympathetic.

You know what's funny to me...people will freak out if a child needs an Eppi-pen if they get stung by a bee...but the minute I tell them that I am allergic to gluten, they think I am kidding.  Ummmmm...I'm soo not kidding.  It's scary.  The fact that I could not sit upright yesterday and barely had the energy to walk from my bedroom to the living room (all of maybe 10-15 feet) should lead you to believe that the girl with curly hair cannot consume anything glutenous.

(Sigh.)  Being paranoid about gluten, it's how I roll.
