Growing-up

I've been thinking about this whole growing-up/maturing thing and I would like to make a list of Angie-isms regarding this...

1.  Maturity / Growing-up is finding out something confidential about someone and then not holding it against them for years.  Because chances are if they are more mature than you -- they will totally see what you are doing and who you really are...and they will choose the "high road" leaving you to sulk on the "low road."

2. Maturity is realizing that someone else's sin is not "worse" than yours.  Sin is sin.  Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

3. Maturity is knowing how you like your coffee.

4. Maturity is accepting the fact that there are crazy people on the roads with you.  It, also, helps you SEE others as Jesus sees them...LOST, sheep without a shepherd.

5. Maturity goes to work even on sunshine-y days when you'd much rather be at the lake.

6. Maturity is accepting the fact that everyday marks another day on your adventure called "Living my fabulous life!"

7. When you grow-up, you realize that the groceries don't just appear in your fridge...you have to work to get the paycheck to buy the groceries.  You, also, I might add, need to pay your utilities, too.

I'm sure I will think of more now that this thought is tumbling through my head...
