Humidity

I know I shouldn't be blogging in the morning...especially since I am not ready for work -- as in still wearing my jammies and have bed head.  (Sigh.)


I read the funniest thing last night on a news post by my new favorite brand of lotion (Gud by Bert's Bees).  

Humidity is Mother Nature's 

way of saying 'Girl, you look 

good with a perm!"

It's true.  So very true.  


We are trapped in a vicious heat and humidity system that has managed to move over the Midwest and take up temporary residency.  It's not much fun.  The front is not letting rain in.  And too be honest, I kind of agree with the weatherman when he said that it's too hot to rain. Any precipitation in the clouds would evaporate before hitting the ground.  We desperately need rain...DES-PER-ATE-LY!  Please continue to pray for rain in our area...
