I kinda like short work weeks. :) I mean REALLY...who doesn't love a holiday day off smack-dab in the middle of the week??? I don't know a single soul who would say, "You know, I really don't like the fact that I am going to get an entire day off work and still receive my wages." I mean FOR REAL --- who in their right mind would say that outloud? No matter how much I do love my job, I would not pass up a day off...and a day off with pay...I'd need my head examined.
I'm trying to decide what I want to do on Wednesday. I'd like to NOT go to the fireworks. Is that weird to read? I went a couple years ago and was semi-impressed with the light display. But, am I impressed enough to go downtown and have the maneuver around the crazies? Ummmmmm...not really. Not to mention, I don't know anyone else who is going and I'm not the kinda gal that's giddy about being downtown AT NIGHT with a bunch of crazies. Just sayin'...
I'm, more or less, the kinda gal that likes to find herself relaxing with a tall glass of iced tea and a relaxing afternoon spent reading. It might seem boring to you...but to the girl with curly hair, it's enough of a 4th of July adventure that she really needs.
