What I love about these dogs...

1. When I talk to these dogs, they turn their heads and perk-up their ears giving me the illusion that perhaps they are listening.

2. Because I think they are listening (see #1), I also believe they love my fun ideas!

3  They bark and warn me of danger!

4. They are early-risers which was a HUGE blessing last Friday when I set my alarm from P.M. instead of A.M.

5.  They are "people" dogs.  The injured one cannot jump up on the couch to snuggle with me; therefore I humor her and stretch-out on the floor so that they can lie beside me.

6.  They love it when I come home!!!  This is a huge difference from them and Maggie.  Maggie will acknowledge me but the dogs...the dogs are jumping up and down and wagging their tails.  'Tis true what my kitchen magnet says, "Dogs have owners.  Cats have staff."
