I am feeling like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. You know...the one that carries the stop watch and is always running late. [See below.]
I'm not running late, but I feel as though I am running from day - to - day without much of a break. Sooo I feel late - late - late!
I'm not a fan of this feeling. And too be completely honest with you - I haven't felt like said rabbit since my teaching days. I remember during my first year, the students and I would quote the rabbit, "We're late! We're late for a very important date!" We, also, learned that year that "It's not a crisis!"
Today I am implementing a little self-talk with myself..."Angie Good, you are not late. Your week is hectic and crazy but you will be fine. This is not a crisis."
