Jotted notes
I am the kind of girl that jots notes in the margins of her Bible. When I re-stumble on one of these notes, I find myself considering the ink scribbled words. This happened to me over the weekend when I was reading my Sunday school lesson. We were in Mark 4 - learning about Jesus calming the storm. Verse 35 - Jesus told the discipes "Let us pass over unto the other side." He did NOT say, "Let us go to the middle of the sea and drown." The disciples (like us) should've had more faith that Jesus had everything under control even though - per verse 38 - He was asleep on a pillow. I reminded my Sunday school girls, the Lord is always with us. The Bible, God's Word, tells us that He will never ever, ever, ever leave us or forsake us. It was a wonderful reminder for me - the teacher - that although trials and storms will arise, Jesus is with me all along the way. :)
