I'm unable to upload photos from the Stamping Extravaganza!!! I forgot my camera cord. (Sigh.) I will just have to paint you a word picture...
Sixteen ladies attended the event. We had a great time - laughing, stamping, snacking, and laughing some more.
What a wonderful, charming evening of crafting.
I believe everyone left with atleast 4 cards. Some ladies made more than 10! Great work!!!
The tables were set-up 4-to-a-table.
Small silver pails with styrofoam - covered-up by Hershey Miniatures - had wooden skewers standing tall with clothes-pinned card samples. The genius behind the centerpieces was my fabulous co-worker!!! Kudos to her! :)
The snack table was brimming over with treats ranging from a veggie pizza to cheese puffs to M&M's. Decaf coffee, hot apple cider and water were the perfect fall trifecta of beverages.
Ink was everywhere - fingers, cardstock, etc.
Stamps were divided into categories - many thanks to Nancy for this genius idea!!!
Cardstock fanned out and sample bags matched up accordingly.
Supplies were everywhere and it was fabulous!!!
People chit-chatted and created masterpieces.
My one goal for the evening was to make sure everyone was situated and happily stamping. An added bonus - I was able to spend some time getting to know Julie and chit-chat with Lauren and Patty.
Friday evening was a success!!!
A funny end to the evening - after arriving at the cottage, removing my make-up and donning my jammies, I had a fleeting thought that one of the jar candles was still a-blaze...so I returned to church, unlocked the door, and ran to the stamping area...all the while quoting the Bible verse, "What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee!" I'm not a fan of going there after dark by myself. The Lord took care of any and all creaking noises - save the last weird noise right before I pulled the side door tight and ran to my car. :)
Oh and the candle - it was not burning. Someone had kindly extinguished the flame and replaced the jar top. Another blessing - the church did not go up in blazes!!! And I got a restful night's sleep.
The end. :)
