Today I am truly thankful for the book Single but Not Sorry by Joyce Parks.

Oftentimes we say the first thing that comes to mind...and unfortunately we've turned off our "filter" and excuse our rudeness & harshness by stating, "Well, I'm just stating it like it is. Keeping it real." Wow - when did REAL become RUDE and MEAN and CRITICAL???
Before blurting out what our sinful heart thinks the recipient deserves, let's re-focus and get a glimpse of the Lord's heart...
