I'm not going to be the kind of girl that can have yards of fabric in her house.
Tonight, I totally disrespected Monday by staying up too late sewing.
The cleaned and pressed material was calling my name..."Sew me, Angie Good." I couldn't help myself.
At first, I told myself, "Just sew up the sides and work on the interfacing waistband..." Of course, this turned in to, "You're over halfway....just a few more steps."
And lastly, "Look - you just need to hem the thing. Go add another scoop of coffee to the filter and you'll be fine."
Needless to say, the skirt is done. I do like it. I'm looking forward to working with the knit material this week and seeing how the t-shirt top works.
What has me confused is almost every single A-line skirt pattern is to sit 1" below your waist. Do they make an A-line skirt pattern that doesn't sit 1" below your waist??? Hmmmm...
If the knit top goes well, I'm thinking my 4th sewing project might be a maxi-dress. Simplicity has an "easy one. Can you imagine, me, Angie Good, making maxi dresses??? (Smile!)
