Today I used a new product on my Easter cards. Flocking. It's pretty much fuzzies. You know in children's books when the sheep feels fuzzy...well, it's because it's been flocked.
Several years ago, I purchased this cute egg-juggling chick & the "Happy Easter" sentiments and a small container of yellow flocking. (I believe I purchased it after the owner of the Goose Barn sold me on the idea of a fuzzy spring chick.)
Today I watched a short flocking video on YouTube. It's super easy to use.
1. Stamp your image.
2. Use a glue pen (or glue with a small opening) and cover the area to be flocked/fuzzed.
3. Sprinkle on flocking.
4. Tap off excess.
5. Let dry.
Ta-da!!! You've just now learned all about flocking. My blog is kind of like a fabulous public service announcement. You received crafty tips, health tips, and my ramblings.
