Haircut: Before

In hair magazines, they show you a "before" picture with the girl frowning, not wearing make-up, and in frumpy clothes.  And of course, in the "after" photo, she is smiling, wearing fabulous make-up and a cute outfit.  I've never understood the "before" picture -- why do they make the girl look soo frumpy?

Today is my first spring haircut...although 37 degrees with A CHANCE OF FLURRIES is not really springy, now is it??? 

For the past week, my curls have done ridiculous things...and now, the day of haircut, they are remorseful and begging for mercy by laying nicely and being springy.  Well, it's too late for that nonsensical nonsense.
