Christmas presents!!!!

Tonight I purchased some lovely wool yarn to make 3 Christmas presents.  I figured since Christmas is 80 days away and I was being forced to "disrespect the turkey" tonight {read:  The choir met to listen to our cantata.}....I decided tonight was a good night to begin Christmas knitting.

I do know what's going to happen.....now that I've gotten a smidge bit of Christmas in me....the next step is pulling out the Christmas dvds.  And actually I stopped putting them in storage with the other Christmas paraphernalia.   I keep them in my stack o' "Love much, Laugh often, Live well" boxes in my living room.  It's like putting a box of Kryptonite underneath Superman's coffee table.

Anywhooo.....back to these three projects.  I am going to knit ribbed cowls and for the first time ever {drumroll please}....the ribbing will be vertical!!!  Too most people this is inconsequential,  but to me {read:  THE KNITTER}, this is cool stuff.  I love vertical ribbing.  ...hopefully the receivers will love vertical ribbing too.
