When knitting with circular needles.....

....make sure you lay all the cast on stitches flat and check to see that none are twisted and/or turned.   If you don't do this, your finished project will be twisted.  I know.  It happened to my infinity scarf.  The cool part is ~ the scarf looks like it was supposed to be made this way and BONUS: no one will really see my mistake.  Soooo let's keep this little secret to ourselves.  {Wink, wink.}
