Yes, you read that correctly. It is snowing in northern Illinois on Veterans Day. Not a huge snow - but flurries and fluff. Truth be told - it's kind of "warm" still {read: 38 degrees} so I really don't think this white stuff is going to stick!!!
Because it's snowing and I have the day off...I am watching Elf. I love Buddy the Elf. I love his Christmas cheer. If he wasn't fictional, I would want to marry him. And I think if he knew me, he would want to date and marry me too. :)
I'm soo glad I took Rosie to the dealership this morning to get her charcoal canister filter-device replaced before the rain/ice/snow mixture hit! While Rosie was getting repaired, I went to Meg's and enjoyed a hot raspberry chai. I love coffee...chai...hot chocolate... It makes my heart go pitter-patter...which happens to be literally in this instance because they don't have a decaf raspberry chai. (Sadness.)
Tonight I am going thrifting with Rhonda and I am hoping to work on my White Elephant gift. It's going to be epic. I would tell you about it - but unfortunately, a few of my blog-stalkers will be attending the Christmas festivities and I don't want to give it away yet. Even now, as I sit here watching/listening to Elf, I am cracking-up thinking about this white elephant present. I had three options that I was considering...but this one is my fave!!! I will post pictures when I get all put together. :)
