YARN CONUNDRUM!!!!!!

There are sooo many choices!!!!  Today I went to JoAnn's to find some yarn to knit a chevron afghan.  There are just too many yarn options.  Teal, navy, brown, cream, pinks, yellow, etc.  Oh and don't get me started on variegated yarn!!!

One particular skein that I was absolutely smitten with was white with teal and navy and khaki.  I picked up two large skeins and then opted for two large khaki-ish skeins.  I needed a third option.....I picked white.  After putting these items in my basket, I found size 11 circular needles.

As I stood there with my overflowing basket o'yarn and needles, I did the math and nearly passed-out.  Wow-zahs........

I, then, walked back to the yarn aisle and put back my pretty variegated yarn.  I put back the khaki/taupe, and the white yarn.  25% off was not enough of a sale.  {Sigh.}  I did keep the needles because had a coupon for 50% off a regular priced item.

Several minutes later ~ after a meander through the fabric ~ I found myself back in the yarn aisle.  I found myself picking up two olive skeins and two light teal skeins...both to make cowl scarves for upcoming birthdays.

I know I said no more cowl scarves.  Drat!!!  Silly New Year's resolution!!!  I am breaking my resolution.  January 10th......broken resolution.  This, yes, THIS is why I don't make resolutions.  {Shoulder shrug.}  Buying the pretty yarn gave me a yarn-buying-quasi-craft-high.  Resolution-schmezolution!!!!
