Just in time for this Saturday snow day!!!!

Several years ago, I became the owner of a double papasan.  A double papasan is a wicker-y basket with a stand.  Used for reading and leisure naps.

When I moved in to the cottage, there wasn't enough room for this lovely piece of furniture so the base and "basket" were put in to storage and the cushion was pitched.  Thankfully when I moved in to my apartment, I remembered to remove the papasan from storage {read: the upper rafters of the garage}.

Recently I had saved enough money to purchase a new cushion.  The biggest decision was WHAT COLOR?  I was presented with so many options a d narrowed it down to 4.....

Cream:  What if I spill coffee on it?  And the cream only came in a fuzzy fabric so would that be practical for summer?  I thought not....

Burgundy:  A FABULOUS shade of red that I adore...but I already have burgundy and cream cottage-y furniture.

Sage green:  Another fave....

Teal:  WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!

I have been wanting to find ways to incorporate this color throughout my apartment ~ not because it's trendy but because I really do love teal!!!

Yesterday I received a phone call stating that my ship-to-store-for-free-shipping purchase was ready for pick-up....and it arrived just in time for ANOTHER snowy Saturday!!!
