My mom to the rescue!!!!

Not the last time I was down visiting my parents but the time before that, my mom gave me a bunch of her sewing supplies.  Snaps and buttons and eye-hooks, Oh my!!!

Yesterday when I was getting ready for church, I was not thrilled about the way my cotton sweater was gaping open.  {NOTE:  Sixty degrees for a high means it won't be 60° in the morning when you leave for the 9:15 choir-run-through-of-the-special.  Sixty for a high means it will be 40-ish when you leave for said choir appointment.  Plan to blast the heat and drink green tea while notifying yourself that YES, you are 3 kinds of crazy for wearing a sundress and cotton cardigan.}

As I contemplated my gaping sweater conundrum, I remembered my sewing box o'treasures.

A quick perusal and the eye hook package was searched out.

Another blessing to note ~ someone from church had a crafty neighbor go on to be with Jesus.  The church lady brought me bags of sewing treasures which included copious amounts of thread.

The perfect shade of green thread was found amongst the blessing basket o'thread.

Less than 5 minutes later, the gaping sweater conundrum ceased to exist.  My sweater closed and all was well.

I am so thankful for the shared sewing supplies.  What wonderful blessings!!!
