Sweetest surprise

Today I received the sweetest surprise...flowers!!! 

Typically when the flower delivery guy shows up at my place of work, he comes to the Engineering window by mistake.  Infact the last time someone in my department received flowers was....well, I don't think anyone has received flowers in my 5+ years at the poop plant.

This made today a very special surprise.  It's Administrative Professionals' Day.  No one in my department remembers.  Five years ago I was devastated.  Now...60 months later, it really doesn't phase me.  My heart does go out to the spouses of the inconsiderate.  How much time does it take to get a card...a cheesy card...a sappy card...any THANK YOU card...and write a few sentences. Such as "Thanks for keeping us all together" or "I appreciate your administrative skills."  Apparently the time it takes would be too draining...so in the meantime, my wonderful friends stepped up to the plate and told me to shine on!!!
