The rowing machine

Confession:  I have a new favorite gym machine...it is the rowing machine.

I am not the type of girl who makes gym goals.  I just don't.  My current gym goal (I call it that loosely) was made September 2009 when I decided to join a gym.  And that goal was "Don't be lazy!!! Get fit!!!"  Five and a half years later and I would say that STUCK.

Well...I have a new goal.  I want to row across Lake Geneva.  Per Google - the lake is circa 9 miles across.

On Tuesday night I rowed for 10 minutes and went 0.75 miles which means I need to build up to approximately 2 hours of solid rowing.  That is A LOT of rowing...in case you were wondering.

I did not go to the gym tonight with dinner plans before church and then church...by the time we were dismissed, I was thinking about my jammies and the horrendous evils happening to my 13-hour contact lens marathon today.  Not good.

Soo tomorrow I will resume - ummm...scratch that.  Tomorrow night I have a coffee date.  Friday night I will set my rowing goal from 10 to 15 minutes...maybe even 20 if I am feeling frisky.

Rowing progress will be tracked. Maybe I should make a sidebar tracking list.  Hmmmmm...  Stay tuned.
