And then it was 8:59 a.m.

Yesterday morning went by in such a blur...

I woke-up early (which I love doing on Sunday mornings because then I am not rushed).
I showered and blew dry my hair.  {Thankfully I did this right away.}
I, then, sat down with a cup of coffee and noticed the clock said 7:59.  I started reading Daniel and praying for someone...and then next thing I knew it was 8:59.  8:59 and I should be walking out the door at 9:00!!!!  I glanced down and noticed that I was still wearing my jammies and my face was sans make-up.  

As it fast forwarding every morning ritual, I dashed to my bedroom and threw on a black dress, a sweater, sandals, and a statement necklace.  Next I sprinted in to the bathroom where I haphazardly (I'm sad to admit) brushed on powder, blush, mascara, eye shadow.  I plucked my contacts from their case and carefully placed them in my eyes.  

I grabbed my Bible, my purse, my bottle of water and glanced at the clock -- 9:09!  Not too shabby!  10 minutes!!!  Never mind the fact that my heart was pounding as if I just did 45 minutes on the elliptical.
