New Year's in Helena, Montana...

There's this completely sensible gal inside me who is saying, "Angie Good, you really should not blog about your trip tonight."  The sleep-deprived crazy gal in me is saying, "Go for it!  It'll be epic."

Here's the issue...last night I had great difficulty falling asleep.  Typically this is not an issue - however last night I'm attributing the goodbye tears which semi-dehydrated me.  In the mountains, you have to stay ridiculously hydrated...which I completely love because I HEART WATER!!!!!!  As in - I typically drink a gallon a day.  That's not even counting coffee and tea.  I just really love water.

Well, last night I could not fall asleep.  At midnight, I woke-up and went and got a drink of semi-room temp water hoping that would magically put me to sleep.  Not so.  I'm not sure how long I laid there tossing and turning before sleep consumed me...

When my alarm chimed, it felt like I had slept for 10 minutes.  I do recall having a crazy dream....and I'm not sure if that was due to the altitude or the tears which removed moisture from my systems.  (That's a bid tragic sounding, right?)

At any rate...I'm not going to blog about my trip tonight.  I want to sleep. Sadly I still have 49.5 minutes before it's even remotely appropriate for me to go to bed.  Confession:  I've been in my jammies since 5 p.m.  Not even kidding.  After I got home from Woodman's, I donned my jammies.  It's a beautiful gift - this being single and having a cat who does not judge your 5 p.m. jammies.  If wearing jammies at 5 is wrong, then I do not ever want to be "right."

Have a wonderful evening...
I'll do my best to blog soon...

Until we meet again, have a wonderful sleep and fabulous week!!!

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
