Days 17 through 30

#17 – What knowledge are you grateful for?
I’m thankful that I know the multiplication table.  That bit of info has helped me more times that I can even begin to count.

#18 – What piece of art are you grateful for?
Anything colored by the fabulous Emma Kate and her ferocious brother Caleb

#19 – What touch are you grateful for?
Flannel sheets.  I love how they wrap you in a cocoon of warmth.  Thankfully I have coffee to coax me out of bed in the winter.

#20 – Who in your life are you grateful for?
I’m thankful for my crazy co-workers.  They help put the FUN is dysfunction.

#21 – What song are you grateful for?
“How Great Thou Art.”  I love that hymn.  Every single verse.  Anytime a verse is omitted it makes me really sad.  SING EVERY VERSE!!!!!

A secular song I am thankful for is “His Cheeseburger” by the Veggie Tales.  Like Mr. Lundt, I too am a foodie and I love food…so much so that I believe if I really spent some time developing lyrics, I could come up with an emotional vocalization of my obsession with food.

#22 – What story are you grateful for?
I’m rather smitten with the story of Queen Esther.  For such a time as this…

#23 – What tradition are you grateful for?
I’m thankful for my annual stay-cation tradition.  It’s a beautiful gift to me from me.  XOXOX!

#24 – What challenge are you grateful for?
I like math story problems.  Is that weird that I, an adult, still love story problems?  This explains my love of Math Counts – an annual math competition held at Rock Valley College.

#25 – What moment this week are you grateful for?
In circa 35 minutes, I will be leaving work.  This is the moment I have been waiting for…Friday at quitting time.

#26 – What form of expression are you grateful for?
Written words.  Notes.  Scribbles.  Doodles.

#27 – What small think that you use daily are you grateful for?
My coffeemaker.  J

#28 – What small thing that happened today are you grateful for?
Today I worked on a knitted scarf.  It’s not for me.  It’s not even from me.  It’s a work of love for a friend for her daughter-in-law.  I’m just the knitter.

#29 – What family / friend are you grateful for today?
All…however specifically my aunts and uncles.  They have each played an part in molding me into the fabulous adult that I am today.

#30 – What talent or skill that you have are you grateful for?
Knitting…and making coffee…oh and then there’s multi-tasking, making coffee & then knitting.
