A God moment

Do you ever meet someone and you just know the appointment was ordained by God?  I had that today...

While serving at a post-baby dedication luncheon for a couple from my life group, I met the party planner.  She introduced herself and then began dishing out directions.

At some point the two of us had to go down to the kitchen to fetch some food.  She said to me, "I love your dress."  When I replied that my dress was from Goodwill, she informed me she too loved the Goodwill and that her favorite one is on Randall Road.  "Me tooooooo!!!!!" I replied.

Sometime after this she mentioned that she has to avoid eating gluten. "Me tooooooo!!!!!" I again replied.

And lastly, when explaining where I work, somehow lunch breaks came up and can I find gluten-free in the 'hood.  I told her I always pack a lunch but once a month I take an Executive Lunch (60 minutes) and get Spider Sushi.  We then began discussing our favorite sushi meals.

And another gal helping serve was talking to me and asking about tutoring club and which life group I was in.  I shared that I love my life group but I was hoping to connect with more singles.  She promptly marched me out to the cafe area and introduced me to 2 gals both named Kelly.  Talk about ask and ye shall receive.  I am not one to walk around introducing myself and the Lord knows that so He sent these two sweet gals to do that work for Him to encourage me.
