Last night I was blessed with the sweetest fellow during tutoring. My tutoree was sick so I got to sub for an absent tutor.
Our devotional was the Crucifixion of Jesus.
At the end when we were discussing it, my tutoree asked, "Why didn't Pilate do anything to help Jesus?"
I replied, "The crowds pressured him. We do the same thing when the Holy Spirit whispers what's right and good and pure and what He wants us to do, but instead, we choose our own way because what will our friends and family think?"
