Vintage draperies

Last night (Friday, April 29th) we celebrated the birthday trifecta!!!!  Julie's birthday, Stephanie's birthday and mine.  Our original plans - supper at Lucha's Cantina - got scratched when we each confessed to having late lunches.

Plan B was meeting at the Salvation Army and closing that place down!!!!!  Everyone found fun finds.  We each left with cute clothes.

My favorite thrift find was a swingy dress made out of a vintage curtain-looking fabric.  It doesn't feel like drapery fabric, it just looks like it.  I am going to pair it with black leggings, a jean jacket, sandals and some simple silver hoop earrings.

My other two thrift finds were a cute mint green tank and a coral striped, cowl-necked (Chaps brand) sweatshirt.

I loved spending my Friday evening with these two.  After the thrift kicked-us-out (not literally...it was more or less "the thrift store is closing in X number of minutes; please make your final purchase..."), we went to YumBerry - the frozen yogurt stop.  YumBerry has gluten-free frozen yogurt.  I had a swirl of graham cracker with a layer of cheesecake topped with lime.  Talk about a party in my mouth.  It was faaaaaaaantastic!!!!  As we left I went all Terminator, "I'll be back."  Not his voice.  I just used his line.
