A 7.am. flight sounded like a good idea....

Once upon a time (like 5 or so weeks ago), a 7 a.m. flight leaving out of O'Hare sounded like a great idea.  I'd fly out of O'Hare and arrive in Detroit some 48 minutes later...at which point my brother will board the plane and occupy the seat next to me.  We will then take-off arriving in Boston around 12 'noon.

Well....I went to the Van Galder bus terminal to pick-up a schedule and guess who has to take the 3:30 a.m. bus to O'Hare?  Yours truly.
Why?  Because the 4:30 bus does not arrive until 6:10 and I do not think I can dash through O'Hare and make it to my gate in circa 50 minutes...which would actually be more like circa 30 minutes...plus I hate running and I don't think it's appropriate to be hollering, "I HATE RUNNING!" while flailing about in an International Airport such as O'Hare.  You know what I mean?  It seems like it will take crazy to the next level and I don't want to be THAT passenger.

Soooo here's my plan...since no coffee establishment will be open at half-past 3 in the A M....I'm going to pick up a package of disposable coffee cups - those travel ones that I think are slightly hipster.  I'm going to bring my own coffee to the bus station...because let's face it, no one wants me uncaffeinated at 3:30 in the morning.  I mean, if I have to be up, let's get some coffee in me.

The next time I decide to travel - please remind me that I do not live next-door to the O'Hare airport.
