A scene from the sinking of the Titanic

I remember watching the Titanic movie. 

I remember the sinking of it and, how as the ship sunk, the rescue boats tried to get as far away from the sinking vessel because of the suction caused by the boat's demise. 

The rescue boats were afraid of being pulled down with the force of the water pulling the Titanic to the depths of the ocean.

It is like this with the "sinking of people." 

They know they are going under. 

Their "suction" lashes out and tries to pull other down.

As I watch this unfold, it is sad to me that such hurtful untruths are being spread around like confetti in Times Square on New Year's Eve. 

Sink on, big ship and don't pull other down with you, said the girl with three life preservers.
