No expectations: Day 13

Earlier today I found a scanned award letter.  Not the complete 2 page letter.  No.  That would be too easy.  I found JUST the 2nd page. 

Hmmmmm....

SOMEBODY CALL NASA!!!!!

Wait - call me!!!!!

Why?  Because I literally double-clicked open the Word file and printed page 1 on letterhead. 

And then what???

I got up and walked to the printer.  Man, that was like 27 steps one-way.

I took the freshly printed page 1 and I walked to the other printer and scanned it to myself.

I then walked back to my computer and clicked around saving the first page in front of the 2nd page. 

Wow.  Rocket science, I say full of condescension.

How in the world the scanner is the scanner is beyond me. 

I am thankful today is the 13th day of #noexpectations because when I discovered this quandary, I actually laughed.  I laughed at the stupidity of the situation.  I laughed because years from now we will be look for crap and it will be like a game...a game where we lose.  We will probably find pages 3 of 6 and maybe even 1 page out of 10.  We could place odds on what will find.
