Week 11 ~ B

Have you ever been disappointed?  I'm assuming the answer is yes... as A) you are capable of reading which means you are beyond 1st grade :)  and B) disappointments are a part of life.

As Christians, we know that God is good and kind and loving whatever He wills is for our best...and we can trust Him.

I have a co-worker who is disappointed.  Something did not work out according to her plans...  I am hoping this card and sweet little treat will let her know that I care.

Week 11

I'm so excited about week 11.  It's a pass-it-along / share-the-love sort of surprise!!!

Week 10

It's March 17th.  We are 3 days away from spring and it snowed this morning.  No accumulation.  Just flurries.  But it was snow nonetheless.  {Sigh.}

This afternoon I ventured to Stillman Valley to visit with a former co-worker and her delightful children.  I need to digress...

During Sunday school prayer request time, an overly verbose boy asked prayer regarding the weather because the snow hurt his heart.  Amen!  Sooo when I prayed, I told the Lord that we were indeed thankful for the moisture in the ground but we were going kind of a little bazerk with all this winter!  {Can I get an "Amen!!!"?}

Shortly after Sundays school,  the Lord put on my heart to bring Jenni some tulips.  {I know daisies are the friendliest flowers but aren't tulips the springiest????}

Week 9

Coffee date...
Ordered a book which more-than-likely be part of week 10 or 11...

Week 8

A sleepover...
Late-night Gab-fest...
Spending quality time with my peeps...
Priceless :)

Week 7 {February 24th through March 2nd}

I am thoroughly enjoying my 52 weeks of blessings...

I didn't realize how much it was encourage ME.  I've prayed that this little out-pouring of love would bless others but it has in fact blessed me as well. :)

Week #7 is preparatory for weeks to come...yet while stamping and gabbing, it encouraged me as well.

Weeks 5 & 6

Week 5:  Sent off letters to Snohomish, Washington

Week 6:  Sent a letter to the President/CEO of Target and the fine folks who make Noosa Yoghurt { Yes - that is how they spell yogurt! }

I am sure that these companies receive their fair share of complaint calls, emails and letters sooo I took an opportunity to thank them for their wonderful products.  I thanked Noosa for the new tart cherry yogurt and Target for carrying their Merona line.

My 52 week project

Each week for the next 52 weeks, I am going to ask the Lord to put someone in my path who needs a blessing.  Today I began the journey by hearing that still, small voice say, "Angie, you need to send her flowers."  Normally I am not quite in tune with that little voice.  I have a list of "But what if's" that range a mile long.

My job is not to play the role of God.  My job is to be His tool.  His hands.  Share His love with others who are walking the same pathway {and sometimes a more overwhelming pathway} than I am walking.

After sending the flowers and reading about what a blessing they were, I was encouraged and blessed.

More of Him and less of me....that's what John 3:30 says.

I cannot wait to take this 52 week journey and see what amazing things the Lord has in-store.  :)  :)  :)

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
