Leaning

What a fellowship, what a joy divine - leaning on the everlasting arms.  What a blessedness, what a peace is mine - leaning on the everlasting arms.

Chorus:
Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarm.
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way - leaning on the everlasting arms.  Oh how bright the path grows from day to day - leaning on the everlasting arms.

What have I to dread, what have I to fear - leaning on the everlasting arms?  I have blessed peace with my Lord so near - leaning on the everlasting arms.

3. Yesterday two friends setup a thrift outing with me for today.  We spent 5 hours together - laughing, having coffee, thrifting and enjoying a leisure lunch.

I am blessed.  My cup runneth over...

I really did talk too much...

My grandpa has dementia. He would not recognize me should we meet on the street.  Maybe his heart would somehow sync with the beating of mine because I am his granddaughter.  I would always write "From your favorite granddaughter" on his envelope.

When I was a kid, he would wake me up at the crack of the dawn and take me to Willow Lake where we would get in a row boat and spend several hours fishing.  He would never tell me to stop talking...he would just mention that the fish preferred quiet.

It's been awhile.
