Headed home...

Heading home...

For flying parents of kickers

I have come to the point in my life if your child is kicking  (REPEATEDLY kicking) my airplane seat and you are not telling him/her to stop, I will ask you, the parental unit, to tell your sweet munchkin to stop.

A kick or two, I don't mind.

Reeeeeeeepeeeeated kicking...please stop.

I have learned at the poop plant that it's best to ask the parent to ask/tell the child to stop.

Thank you ceasing kicking my backside.

I am forever thankful for parents who raised me to embrace adventure.  Even slightly scary adventure..like the landing in to the Seattle airport.  I knew from my 2012 adventure that the landing tends to be bumpy.  And yet even though there may be bumps, I still choose to board a Boeing 737 and fly across the country to celebrate Samantha.  I would not miss it for the world.

There is beauty in traveling alone and I cannot wait for my next adventure.

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
