Day 2

Day 2 began bright and early.  Mom and I went to Dad's line-dancing/aerobics class.  It was two hours of pretty-much non-stop dancing at the senior center.  I met the cutest 82-year old lady named Angela.  She was adorable.

Our second stop was Chic-Fil-A for lunch.  We needer nourishment before we headed out to McKay's - a 2-story used bookstore.

McKay's.......I found 5 books and plent-teeeeeeeeee of others that I wanted.  I snapped picture after picture of "Wish List" books and have added most of them to GoodReads.  :)  I really wanted one particular book but it was $6.50 and I was getting close to my book spending limit...so I put it back.  Turns out the same book was at Half.com's website for 75 cents.  Even with shipping, I saved over $2!!!

After McKay's we went to a variety of grocery stores picking up odds and ends for Thanksgiving.  Oh and I found some new coffeebeans for us to try!!!  Yeah!!!

Thus concludes day 2...  :)

The beauty of embarking on a roadtrip....

The beauty of driving.....
1. No over-the-weight-limit luggage fees.  Wait....
2. No luggage fees!!! :)
3. If I see a Caribou Coffee sign, I can stop for a mocha.  You can't do that on plane without involving the airline police.
4. I am not on anybody's time table...except mine.

I do love roadtrips.  I wish with all my heart that Bryan was travelling with me, but he is not.
