Owl love

I heart owls.  I am not sure when it happened but some time in the past 12-18 months, I have become smitten with these feathered creatures.  I, even, have an owl residing adjacent to the cottage.  I've not seen him/her but I hear him/her "whooooo-whooooo-whoooooing" in the early morning hours. 

My friends know all about my smitten owl state...they know and have given me thoughtful owl-ish presents.

Whoooooooooo...

Tonight when I got home from the gym, I was cleaning out Rosie's backseat.  It looked like my gym bag barfed.  Gym clothes were stewn about...it wasn't pretty.

While hauling in my random and misc-ish gym clothes, I heard an owl.  He was "Whooooooo-Whoooooooo-Whoooooooooing."

I paused and listened again.

His song was soo pretty.  I wonder if he was calling his friend...or maybe he was just saying "Hi" to me in his lovely owl-ish way.

At any rate, it was lovely.  His song was soo pretty.
