Do you ever see something that just cracks you up and then you find you are the ONLY one laughing? Last night Nancy and I ran into the Dollar Tree to pick up tins for cookies and truffles...while standing in the check-out line, I spied a roll of peppermint candy wrapping paper. And for some reason, I envisioned wrapping gifts and spraying them with peppermint air freshener thus creating a scratch-n-sniff sort of experience. OH MY WORD...I laughed and laughed...actually I had to leave the store. Later when we returned to baking, Nancy asked me, "What is wrong with you?" I figured it out...I had coffee after 5 p.m.
Good idea -- buy tins at the Dollar Tree
Bad Idea -- take Angie there after 2 cups of coffee late in the day
Good idea -- make truffles
Bad Idea -- try dipping all the truffles in melted chocolate...hmmmm...some truffles should be rolled in baker's cocoa not melted chocolate
Good Idea -- sleep in
Bad Idea -- forget what time you scheduled your hair cut so you have to then rush around and get ready...
