Right before I went on vacation, I picked up a book at Border's by Kristin Billerbeck, A Girl's Best Friend. The subtitle (of sorts) caught my attention, "the pursuit of life, love, and the perfect pedicure.") This book is actually one of three in The Spa Girls series. How fitting.
This book was a light read and I enjoyed the three best friends--Poppy (who's quite eccentric), Lilly (artsy and afraid of commitment), and Morgan (basically had things handed to her all of her life).
They are three single girls living in California. Whenever crisis strikes, they head off for some much-needed pampering at the Spa--Del Mar. Oh how I wish I could join them!!!!
Don't worry--I will share this book. And you should know--I just ordered the other two for PEANUTS on Half.Com. I'm hoping that the first and third books of this series are equally as enjoyable.
