Asking

"And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22

I know these verses...I know this wonderful promises! Maybe I know them, but I haven't let them sink into my heart.

Recently I prayed about something rather insignificant and when God answered it -- I was surprised. Well, shame on me! I asked -- He answered. I only believed half-heartedly that He would really answer it in the way I had asked.

Something else I have been thinking about...I have asked God for something repeatedly and I am beginning to wonder if I truly need to keep asking and asking -- as if God (the Creator of the Universe) needs reminding from me, Angie Good. If I ask repeatedly, will He understand that this is something that I think about day and night...however He does know my heart and thoughts. If I don't ask, does God think that I have given up on Him and not trusting Him to provide?
