This morning while enjoying a hot cup of cider (thank you, Edward's Apple Orchard...oh FYI, Edward's -- I will be back!!!)...I determined that for 4 weeks straight -- I, Angie Good, will not be working a 5-day work week. FOUR WEEKS STRAIGHT!!!!! Ah! (That was a joyous holler, by the way!) Oh my goodness...what a fabulous idea: save up my vacation time until my anniversary month...which just so happens to fall in the beloved season of Autumn. (sigh) After having a rather rough day yesterday, my realization of this fact has put a smile upon my face and a bounce in my step.
When I prayed for today, I told the Lord, "I know that you are in control of EVERYTHING...please, please help today be better than yesterday but if it's not going to be -- please help me to trust YOU to help me through! Oh...and thank you that tomorrow is Saturday and I get to visit with Kathy!"
I love the fact that God is a personal God and that He cares about me. ME! He loves me and delights in the fact that we can communicate. I'm truly thankful for His Word...and for encouragement in the form of dear friends.
