Starry night...

Tonight I stood on my parent's back porch and attempted to snap a picture of the evening sky.  It's beautiful.  There are a handful of stars twinkling brightly.  I was unable to take a decent picture.

As I stood out there looking at the stars, the song from American Tale came to mind. (Do you remember the movie?  It was a cartoon with a mouse named Fievel.  He had those big ears and was as a cute as a button!)  I haven't heard the song in years...  It was performed by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram.

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight.
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight

Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in a big somewhere out there.

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through,
Then we'll be together somewhere out there...
Out where dreams come true.
