Ten years ago, a funny girl approached me at church one Wednesday evening and said, "Wouldn't it be great if we were frogs..." I didn't know where she was going with this so I remember remaining silent. She continued, "...we could eat what's bugging us!"
I thought to myself, This girl is CRAZY! We are going to be great friends!
Was I ever right!!! :) Talk about making goodbye soo painful...and yet I know that I can hop-aboard an airplane and see her in a few hours...or even better yet, compose an email and click SEND and have it there instantly! ...I suppose we could rig up some way to fax one another...and let's not forget SMOKE SIGNALS! Although, regarding the smoke signals, it's going to take a lot of smoke for it to be seen from Rockford to Seattle.
I just cannot believe it's been 10 years!!!!
In 10 years time, Ginger, you have gone from a stranger...to one of my bestest friends. I love ya! I love your family! Thank you for letting me be a part of your life and for sharing your children with me. They each have a special place in my heart.
I hope the fine folks of Seattle realize what a wonderful gem they are getting!!! If they don't, let me know...I will start a petition and get it notarized! I know this a notary...she works at the local Terracon office. She's kind of crazy like her friend that talked her into working at said office. :)
