"Kindness in women, not their beauteous looks, shall win my love."  ~  Shakespeare

I've not ever been a huge fan of Mr. Shakespeare...ummmmmm that is until I read today's quote of the day!

After reading this quote, I sent it to a friend and put a little note at the bottom regarding my ever-growing affection for Mr. Shakespeare.
What a great notion...kindness, not my beauty, will win over the affection of your heart.

At the cottage, I have a decorative box which holds a variety of old CDs.  On the box are the words "KINDNESS MATTERS."  It is a good reminder each morning...I can choose to be kind or I can choose to operate in the flesh and not be kind.  It's my choice and too be quite frank, it really does matter.  Let's spread the love and be kind to everyone we meet...we can start with our family and friends...and then spread the love to our co-workers.  I like being nice to my co-workers because we all have struggles.  Why should I add to their struggles?  I don't want to be that girl.  I desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be kind, warm, and caring.  Am I all three of those every moment of every day?  No.  But I do feel convicted when I am not and I am thankful for that conviction because that means God is still working on me.

Tootles.
