I've tried to post on my blog and then on the E & F wall any time that I read something amazing, profound, deep, etc. in the book, A Woman Who Reflects The Heart of Jesus...well, tonight is my 30th day with the book...thus the end. I'm actually kind of sad...however Elizabeth George did it AGAIN! One last time -- she spoke to my heart when she wrote...
"Prayer is the path to wisdom. All through your hectic day, ask God for help with any and every decision you must make. For some decisions, you can pray at length. And even in those times when you have only a split second to seek God's guidance, you can quickly ask, 'Father, what is the right thing to do? What is the right thing to say?' In James 1:5, we read: 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God...and it will be given to him.' Make this instruction -- and promise that accompanies it -- your guide for making decisions and choices." p. 245
Right underneath this quote, Elizabeth writes in her Reflect on Your Heart...
"God's message to your heart is this: If you want wisdom, ask Him for it. But understand that when you ask for wisdom, you have to be ready to do what's required to gain it...and follow it." p. 245
